RS232 Optical Isolator
RS232 to RS232 optical isolators guard your asynchronous equipment from the hazards of ground looping. Plugging directly into your DTE hardware, the Model 590 Series provides 2500Vrms peak DCE/DTE isolation. The Model 591A (115.2kbps max) isolates 4 lines on the RS232 interface, two of which are selectable by internal jumpers.

No external power required
