Connectivity needs vary and HARTING’s Han-Modular® Series is designed to meet the unique needs of any customer. With decreased time in project schedules and the increased need for flexibility and space optimization, HARTING’s modular solutions are a perfect fit. Han-Modular® inserts can be used in any standard Han® hood with a Han® docking frame. The pneumatic contacts are also suitable for the connection of liquid media. However it must be stated that a combination of electrical and liquid connections in one connector is not allowed according to VDE regulations. The individual contacts used in this system are all from existing well proven ranges and it is possible to use combinations of 1 to 12 modules depending on the size of the hoods and housings chosen.
