Three cable types PROFINET type A cable (stationary) and PROFINET type B cable (flexing) can be installed in panels or plant floors in Class I Div II hazardous areas, as well as outdoors.
PROFINET type C cable (trailing or continuous flex) is weld splatter resistant, surrounded with a ruggedized, flexible thermoplastic elastomer TPE jacket and rated for 5 million flexes, making it the highest rated product on the market for high-flex applications.
All three cable types are constructed in a unique quad design.
