Our light grids are ideally suited for scanning larger areas, for counting parts, for detecting stack heights (of paper, for example) or for measuring the height of pallets. They are therefore considered classic through-beam sensors that typically scan only selectively at points.
Balluff's light grids feature a switching output – for counting, for example – and an analog output for measurement tasks.
