RS-232 and RS-449 standard and intermateable with all industry standard
D-Subs. Insulator Material: Black, glass-filled polycarbonate (UL 94 V-0). Contacts: Brass (pin) or phosphor bronze (socket). Selected gold in mating area; 100 μ" min. tin-plated on termination area with contact underplated 50 μ" min. nickel. Flange: Metal front tin-plated, detents on the plugs. Termination: 26 AWG solid and 28 AWG stranded conductors on 0.050" ribbon cable. Rated: 5 Amperes per contact, 250 VAC/RMS 60 Hz. Temperature Rating: –25°C to +105°C.
