A Power Unit & Footswitch is truly the foundation of a resistance soldering system; producing and controlling an ample supply of safe high amperage, low voltage current. A Handpiece completes an electrical circuit carrying the current from the source, through the pieces being soldered and back. The Electrode generates an instant and intense level of thermal output as current is forced through its highly resistive material.

All American Beauty systems are standard 120 VAC, 60 Hz, with 3-wire cord and NEMA plug. Also available on special order for 220/240 VAC, 60 Hz. All power ratings based on 50% duty cycle.
